On October 6th, students from across the Trust were fortunate enough to perform at our annual HFCMAT Chester Zoo Takeover.

SJP students performed with their friends from St. Mary’s at Zoo Base Camp. The SJP choir sang with such confidence. and it was fantastic to see some of our Year 7s take up the challenge of singing a solo.

St Mary’s students showcased their talents which included singing, dancing and acting. A play, written by Matthew, was performed by students of all ages from St Mary’s, it was a huge hit!

A lot of work went in to the preparation of St Bernard’s Chester zoo take over. The students were an absolute credit to the school and really did themselves proud educating visitors on the threats to our native wildlife.

After our performances, we enjoy a short visit to see some of the animals.
